What is included in registration?
Registration includes a name badge granting access to all educational sessions, poster viewing, sponsors and exhibitors, the welcome reception, Saturday and Sunday breakfasts, and Saturday lunch.
Will the symposium be available virtually?
Currently, there are no plans to offer the symposium in a hybrid format. However, an asynchronous version is available. It includes audio recordings paired with presentations, which will be accessible about four weeks after SHSA concludes.
Are discounts available for medical students and/or residents?
Registration rates for medical students, residents, and fellows are already discounted.
Where can I find my registration confirmation?
Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email to the address you registered with. If you cannot find this, please login by selecting "Existing User? Log in".
Click on the Registration Card, followed by "Access Registration Information".
You will then be able to print your receipt by selecting that option on the right side of your screen.
Can I purchase more than one one-day registration?
No, you may only register for one single-day registration per person.
Can I register for more than one person using my email address?
No, each person needs to register with a unique email address.
I can no longer attend. Can someone come in my place?
Yes. If you wish to transfer your registration to someone else, they must first create a profile. Once they have done so, please email us at info@hs-foundation.org with your name, as well as the name and email of the person you wish to transfer your registration to.
Do I really need to create an account to register?
Yes, if you haven't created an account before, you'll need to create one before registering or submitting an abstract.
Do speakers need to register for the symposium?
Yes, all speakers are required to register for SHSA. Please check the registration instructions provided by the meeting organizer for details on how to register.
What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing and received by the SHSA office on or before October 10, 2025. Requests for refunds received on or before the previously mentioned date will receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be given beginning October 11, 2025.
